Tania Manczarek is an intuitive energy healer, certified yoga instructor, massage therapist and certified hypnotist with over 15 years experience as a psychotherapist from Los Angeles. She has practiced and studied yoga and meditation for over 10 years in the United States as well as India and Thailand. Tania focuses her life and practice on the mind/body/spirit connection and works in helping people to uncover their authentic self and life. Tania believes that true healing comes from listening to our deepest needs and dreams and that it is from this place of honesty that everything is possible in our lives. Lucas Coelho is a certified holistic life coach, certified reiki practitioner and hypnotist from France with additional knowledge in techniques such as NLP, guided visualization, and inner child work. He has also studied the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls and creates healing and harmonizing meditations for our retreats. His practice is focused on assisting people to reconnect back to themselves and their deep inner needs. Lucas is gifted at quickly guiding clients to effective solutions to make changes in their lives and is highly intuitive in reading people and understanding their blockages and what motivates them to make lasting positive change. Your Yoga

While there are many different styles of yoga that all offer valuable opportunities to learn and grow, here at Lotus Village, we utilize a combination of Hatha, Restorative and Yoga Therapy to teach you not only the physical aspects of the yoga asanas, but also the philosophy of yoga as well and the wisdom of this ancient method of self-inquiry. And to better illustrate the concepts of yoga, each day there will be a particular theme for the class such as, mindfulness, compassion, empowerment, grounding, etc. that you will learn about and focus on practicing through the meditation, pranayama and asanas. This helps to not only better organize your practice, but it also gives a structure to begin understanding how to integrate your practice into your day-to-day life, rather than simply experiencing a series of asanas that feel random and purely fitness oriented.

Our yoga is taught by certified yoga instructor and holistic therapist, Tania Manczarek, and is accessible to all levels whether you're a newbie, a beginner or you've been practicing for some time. Everything is explained so that you feel confident and relaxed each step of the way, making it easier to connect to the practice, understand the philosophy and learn the correct posture alignments. The Hatha and Restorative styles of the physical yoga practice are done slowly focusing on learning how to do the postures correctly, while using different props and adjustments for your body and level of skill. This way, each person can practice according to their physical ability and what feels right for them.

Your Transformational Coaching Sessions

I stayed 5 days with Tania and Lucas for a Transformational Retreat. A simple holiday with yoga and meditation experience turned out to be an amazing journey of self-discovery, development and spiritual renewal. It totally exceeded my expectation and I felt so lucky and privileged to have
chosen this retreat. Tania helped me to identify the real need of my body, my energy and gave me tools that I can use and continue to practice in my post-retreat life. Lucas guided me though some of the essential issues I have in my life and showed me the possibilities and different ways to deal with them. Transformational program 

Here at Lotus Village, our retreats focus not only on keeping the physical body in balance, but also the mind, body, spirit connection in balance as well. Because of this, a key part of our retreats are our private Transformational Coaching sessions with Life Coach and Reiki practitioner, Lucas Coelho.

 

Each session will include a discussion about different aspects of your life and practice exercises to create more balance between your mind, body and spirit. These sessions are designed to increase your self-awareness and to help provide you with practical tools to use in your day-to-day life to reduce stress, achieve your personal goals and improve your relationship with yourself and others.

Meditation program

The benefits of meditation are profound and can significantly improve the quality of your life. It is an ancient practice of introspection, self-inquiry and reflection that brings a deep sense of peace and serenity to ones’ life. Numerous studies have shown how meditation helps to improve concentration, reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, manage stress and anger, improve sleep quality as well as multiple benefits for our mind, body and spirit.

During your retreat, you will learn practical techniques to develop your own meditation practice at home or to deepen your current practice. You will be introduced to different techniques such as sitting meditation, movement meditation, sound meditation, breathing techniques and mantras, experimenting with each type to discover the ones that work best for you. You will find the teaching style to be very practical, easy to understand and adaptable with the main goal of guiding you to begin your own practice at home of just 5 minutes each day. Like this, we have found our students feel inspired to continue their practice in their own lives and to experience ongoing benefits long after their retreat.

For your retreat, you will need to reserve your choice of accommodation with the retreat center either online at www.domainedutaille.com or by calling them at +33 4 75 87 10 38. You have multiple options to choose from depending on your budget and preference including a single or shared room, tent, tipi or small cabin. The price of your accommodation also includes 3 meals per day and 2 snack times. Accommodations start at 62 euros per night. Accommodation availability is on a first come first serve basis.

Your Meals

Nourishing meals are an important part of your retreat. At Domaine du Taillé, they take great care to provide healthy, fresh and delicious meals for participants with organic and seasonal ingredients. During the retreat you will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner each day along with two optional snacks. Please note, if you would like vegetarian meals or have any specific allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform the retreat center in advance.

How to Find Us

By Plane-

Book a flight to Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) or Montpellier Méditerranée Airport (MPL). The easiest way from one of these airports will be to either rent a car or to use the car-pooling site, BlaBlaCar.com, to the retreat center which will take about 2h30.

By Train-

Arrive at Valence train station. From here, take the SNCF "TER" bus towards Aubenas. Exit the bus at Saint Etienne de Boulogne Col d'Auriolles. The bus will take 1h45. From the bus stop, Saint Etienne de Boulogne Col d'Auriolles, you have the option to be picked up in a free shuttle by the retreat center, Domaine du Taillé. Please make sure to reserve the free shuttle at the time of booking your accommodations or email contact@domainedutaille.com. Payment

Full payment for the retreat (550€) is due at time of booking. Accommodations with Domaine du Taillé must be booked separately through their website, www.domainedutaille.com or by calling them directly at +33 4 75 87 10 38.It is recommended to book your accommodations as soon as possible as reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

 

Payment can be made by credit card or by bank wire transfer. For all payments by bank wire transfer, participants will be responsible for any bank charges incurred. Cash and checks, not accepted.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund for cancellations received in writing more than 30 days before the retreat, 50% refund for cancellations received in writing between 14-30 days before the retreat, and no refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before your retreat.
